About the Author

Lisa T. Garland was born on the beautiful Island of St. Thomas, United States, Virgin Islands, where she completed  her high school education. Thereafter, she relocated to New York City to attend Hunter College to further her education. In February, 1991, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a local Church of God in Harlem, New York City, where she served on various committees. In 1994, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. She later pursued a career working in the computer industry.

She is the mother of two gifted children, whom she loves very much. They are the minstrels of the Church of God that she attends. She currently serves on the Praise and Worship Team and the Finance Committee. Unsure of her purpose in life, she was led by God to serve Him as a worshiper, intercessor, and now a writer. She is an inspiration to many and continues to teach her children about God and the importance of serving and worshiping Him.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, baking, cooking, drawing, painting, crocheting, traveling, and taking long walks. Her prayer is that many souls will be won to Jesus Christ as God uses her to write and testify of His goodness in her life.
